The Money Farmer
Private investment management

I am the Money Farmer.

I don't administer wealth and I don't “manage” it — I grow it. Like a farmer, I plant carefully, tend patiently and harvest dividends. A conservative, growth-first approach built around solid British high-dividend stocks and selected Swiss names.

Who I am

Rudolf Engelbert Fitz

An entrepreneur who spent two decades building a business from nothing — and three decades reading markets. I bring an operator's discipline and a builder's patience to the way I grow capital.

Education

Economics at St. Gallen

Studied economics at the renowned St. Gallen Management Center.

1997 – 2017

Coach Akademie Schweiz

Founded and built it from zero into the second-largest German-speaking institute of its kind, with 18 branches across Switzerland, Austria, Germany and South Tyrol.

Companies founded

Four companies started and built over a career as an entrepreneur and operator.

Since 2018

Full-time investor

Investing markets since the mid-1990s — part-time from 1995, and dedicated full-time to growing clients' capital since 2018.

“Unlike wealth management, my focus is unambiguous: growth. I don't want to administer your capital, and I don't want to ‘manage’ it — whatever that is supposed to mean. I want it to grow.”

Why “Money Farmer”

The essence of how I work for you

Behind the name lies the whole nature of the work I do. It is the difference between harvesting and hoarding.

01

The field is my experience

Years of analysing markets and companies, reading the numbers, gathering timely information, and combining fundamental with technical analysis — plus a reliable instinct for what is coming, or what could come.

02

The seed is your investment

Into that field I plant your capital. You decide what should grow, how, and over what horizon — how much performance you want, and how much risk you are willing to carry.

03

Then I tend it

I plant, I water, I fertilise, and I watch it grow. I plant nothing that bears no fruit — no overnight bets, only positions chosen to compound.

Only what I hold myself

I invest exclusively in products I own in my own portfolio. My capital sits beside yours.

No fruitless seeds

No Bitcoin, no explorers, no pre-profit start-ups. If it doesn't earn, I don't plant it.

Not for overnight riches

I'm a farmer. If you want to get rich by morning, I'm the wrong person — patience is the method.

Stability over noise

What counts is stability, reliability, and growth clearly above what others achieve.

The approach

You steer the triangle. I do the farming.

Three forces govern every portfolio. You set them — Performance, Risk and Time — and that triangle steers my work from the first seed to the harvest.

1

Performance

How much should the field yield? Set the ambition — the engine of every decision I make.

2

Risk

How much weather are you willing to take on? Conservative by default, with risk kept deliberately limited.

3

Time

Over what season should it grow? Compounding rewards patience — the longer the horizon, the better the harvest.

Track record

Results from the field

Real harvests from real seasons. Past performance is never a promise of the future — but it shows how the method behaves when it is given time.

In 2019 I added five hydrogen stocks as a satellite position — Plug Power among them. Entry and exit, both caught almost exactly. My best private investment.

The United Kingdom levies no withholding tax on dividends — so for many investors, the dividend stream from British holdings arrives effectively tax-free.

How it works

Your capital, your account, your rules

The structure is built to keep you in control and align my incentives with yours. I only earn when I genuinely outperform.

Held at Interactive Brokers

Your account is opened in your name at Interactive Brokers — a global, multi-billion-dollar broker with a long tradition, and in my view the safest and most cost-efficient there is.

I manage — never touch

My role is purely management. I have no access to your capital — I am only admin. Your money never leaves your control.

You set the benchmark

You define Performance, Risk and Time, and choose the yardstick I am measured against — the Swiss SMI, the UK FTSE, or the S&P 500.

Alignment by design

I only get paid when you genuinely win

Many clients choose a pure performance fee. My share is half of the out-performance above 8%. If the portfolio only matches its benchmark — or only reaches 8% — I work for free.

Performance is calculated per full calendar year. If we start less than 10 months before year-end, those months are carried into the following year as a single basis.

Ready to grow your capital?

Tell me your three numbers — the performance you want, the risk you accept, and the time you can give it. I'll show you how the field could grow.
